About table tennis in schools

Find out more about how we promote table tennis in schools.

Table Tennis is becoming increasingly popular in schools across England. As the National Governing Body for the sport, a key area of our work is to support schools to introduce table tennis and enable students to participate.

How to make table tennis a success in your school:
Table Tennis England provide a schools packages offer which offers discounts on indoor and outdoor tables.
Select the ‘Find a Coach’ tab on our map to source a qualified coach to come to one of your sessions.
We offer a range of courses for both students and staff. From gaining a better knowledge of umpiring to getting to grips with coaching.
There are two schools county competitions, one for teams and one for individual players. These filter into national and, ultimately, international competitions.
Schools membership gives access to resources and information to develop high quality table tennis provision for pupils.
The TT Kidz for Schools programme has been carefully designed to be a valuable addition to your key stage 2 pupils.
Creating a school-club link can create the opportunity for extra sessions and extra coaching as part of the curriculum or outside school hours.
In London and Essex we work in partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation to offer heavily discounted tables and a competition pathway.
