Jasmin Wong was the only one of three England players to reach the knockout stage at the WTT Youth Contender Senec in Slovakia.
After a close defeat in her opening group match, Wong (pictured above) beat Kristal Melendez of Puerto Rico to reach the last 64 of the under-19 Girls’ Singles, where she was beaten by higher-ranked Gao Fan-Ti of Chinese Taipei..
Mari Baldwin went out in the group stage of the same age category, while Bethany Ellis went out in the groups at both under-15 and under-17 levels.
