Entries are coming in fast for the Mark Bates Ltd National Championships Qualifying Tournament, with just two weeks to the deadline.
The tournament sees players compete for the right to join the best in the country at the Nationals ‘proper’ – and more than 80 players have already entered.
They include Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games athlete Fliss Pickard as well as a host of England youth squad members, among them Cadet and Junior Boys’ Singles national champion Larry Trumpauskas.
Entries are on a first come, first served basis as there is a practical limit on the number of competitors who can be accepted.
The tournament takes place on the weekend of January 7-8 at the David Ross Sports Village in Nottingham, which is also the venue for the Senior Nationals.
Any players who are eligible to represent England and who are Compete Plus members of Table Tennis England can enter the Qualifying Tournament. Click here to download the Qualifying Tournament reference document and regulations.
Entry is online only via TT Memberships (Sport:80) and the closing date is December 14.
