England pathway player Kacper Piwowar was among 20 boys and 20 girls to attend and compete at the ITTF World Hopes Week & Challenge in Hennebont, France.
Kacper finished 13th in the competition which came after a training block alongside the 19 other boys, who came from all over the world from Canada to Thailand and France to New Zealand.
Among them are the world No 2 and No 3 under-13s, Danilo Faso of Italy and Emanuel Otalvaro of Colombia.
National Coach Ryan Jenkins said: “To be part of the ITTF’s premier young players’ squad is significant – playing and training with the best in the world is perfect to know where you need to stand and what you need to work on.”
