To mark the 75th Anniversary of the National Health Service, a table tennis tournament for all serving and retired NHS staff and volunteers is to be held on Sunday July 9 at Draycott and Long Eaton TTC in Derby.

Tournament organiser Rob Ridge said: “We first held a National tournament in 2018 to mark the 70th anniversary of the NHS and attracted entries from across the UK.

“Following interest and feedback we planned to then run it as an annual event, which we did in 2019 and saw a further increase in entries.

“This will be the first time we have run the tournament since the pandemic and we are looking forward to welcoming both previous and new players to what is a great event to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the NHS and its staff.”
