Table Tennis England is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Boote to the Board.

The appointment, which takes effect immediately, is for an initial four-year period and follows the election of Sally Hughes to the Board earlier this month.

Mark is a senior qualified commercial finance professional with strong transformation, finance, project, commercial and operational expertise working at Finance Director level and his experience includes working within two Olympic sports – he was Finance Director at Badminton England and a financial consultant to Modern Pentathlon and is therefore familiar with the financial planning and reporting process of sports to both Sport England and UK Sport.

He is currently managing a portfolio of clients predominantly in the digital sector including digital video games, payment applications, lifestyle applications and AI/Robo financial advice.

While announcing new Board appointments, we express our thanks to Priya Samuel who has stepped down from the Board after three-and-a-half years of outstanding support and commitment to table tennis. Priya will be missed by the Board, staff and many of our partners who she engaged with so enthusiastically during her time on the Board – we wish her every future success.
