The UK Fire Service hosted their German colleagues at Shrewsbury Sportsvillage in a two-day team, singles & doubles event.
The UK had their finest players on show including new national champion Steve Chu, as well as other players from all parts of the country.
Due to adverse weather conditions, some players were unable to attend the event, but there was still a great turnout, with 30 players putting on their best performances to try to take the honours.
The overall singles competition was won by German player Nik Tokarek, with the runner-up Julian Malz also from the German team.
Malz then partnered another teammate, Torsten Kalmund, in the doubles and triumphed over a mixed team of UK’s Aaron Thompson & Germany’s Mats Tokarek.
Germany’s first team won the team competition by a single point.
