Excitement is mounting as we prepare to host England’s first ever WTT event – and YOU could play a key role!
We are looking for volunteers to help us deliver a fantastic tournament in Manchester from February 1-4, and also to join our volunteer army for future major events hosted by England and our flagship Mark Bates Ltd National Championships.
As part of Table Tennis England’s drive to deliver amazing major events in England, and with one eye on the World Team Table Tennis Championships at Wembley in 2026, we are looking to expand our volunteer workforce to support the Competition and Events team.
This workforce will help us to deliver the WTT Feeder, the Nationals and future events across England over the coming months and years.
Critical to this is our recruitment of a Volunteer Coordinator for the WTT Feeder, who will work with the Event Director to coordinate and manage the volunteer staff delivering the event.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in an international event, working in and around some of the best players in the world and to be at the centre of the buzz that is international table tennis. You will be a vital part of the team.
The role is particularly suitable for someone wanting to work in the event space or wanting to work with volunteers. We want to hear from people who like working with others and have experience managing people.
Please note, applications for this position have now closed.
We will also shortly be announcing other voluntary roles on offer at the WTT Feeder, including stewards, liaison staff, activity ambassadors and technical support. If you are excited to become a WTT Feeder volunteer and be involved in international events, please complete this expression of interest form and we will be in touch.
Just a few weeks after the Feeder, in March 2024, comes the showpiece of English table tennis, the Mark Bates Ltd National Championships. We are looking for volunteers to play a vital role in making this flagship event even better. To find out what roles are on offer click HERE. The deadline for applying for roles is Friday January 5.
