Welcome to the first North West Area blog where I aim to update you on TT activity and opportunities in the North West. If you would like to promote and share a table tennis activity or project that is going particularly well in your area, please feel free to get in touch and let me know.

World TT Feeder Competition

As Christmas approaches, it is an exciting time for TT in the North West and for Greater Manchester in particular, with England’s first World TT Feeder event taking place at the Manchester Velodrome from 1-4 February 2023. All the top England players will be competing along with plenty of emerging and established stars from around the world. Tickets for the event are now available online.

Volunteers are currently being sought to help deliver a fantastic tournament in Manchester, this is a great opportunity to become involved with the event on your doorstep.

Great Northern Warehouse – Ping Hub

In addition a new Ping Hub will be established at the Great Northern Warehouse with 7 tables from 15 Jan to 29 Feb, with opportunities for local schools, workplaces, clubs, leagues and social groups to try out TT Kidz resources, beat the robot and attend master class coaching sessions. Further details will be announced shortly.

TT Kidz

93% of children who participate in TT Kidz would like to play more table tennis following the programme, so if you’re looking to engage more juniors and start a new beginners’ session, TT Kidz could be just the tool to do this. Clubs can register interest here.
