Tickets are still available for the event, but if you cannot make it, we are live-streaming the action from three tables across Friday and Saturday, plus all the action from the single table set-up on Sunday’s Finals Day.
In the Women’s Singles, top seed Tin-Tin Ho will face the winner of Group 7, which involves Anaya Patel, Xiaoman Ji and Luna Archard. Second seed Emily Bolton will face the winner of Group 1, which includes Kate Watkinson, Sally Hughes and Mya Sultan.
Seeded players Lois Peake and Sophie Earley have withdrawn through injury, meaning Ella Pashley and Sienna Jetha become seventh and eighth seeds respectively, and their places in the groups have been taken by Watkinson and Lisa Rinnhofer, who were the next two players on the waiting list.
In the Men’s Singles, fourth seed David McBeath has this morning had to withdraw, but with no time to call up a replacement, the winner of Group 1 will become the eighth seed and seeds five to eight will all rise one place.
To fill the empty space in the draw, one lucky loser will be drawn from all the second-placed finishers in the groups, once the group stage has concluded. In the draw, that lucky loser will face third seed Sam Walker.
Meanwhile, top seed Paul Drinkhall will face the winner of Group 4 – one of Ralph Pattison, Maxim Stevens and Graeme Barella. Defending champion Tom Jarvis will play the winner of Group 3 – either Larry Trumpauskas, Ben Piggott or Rohan Dani.
