Now the season is winding down this is just a quick blog with a couple of update and thoughts.
There is a Level 1 umpire course on Jan 18th in Wolverhampton.
If you have any club or league members who are female and over 16, then we can now offer them a free place. Please get in touch with [email protected] to make the arrangements.
A league in Surrey is currently organising a Level 1 umpires course for all its leagues Team Captains. Is this something your league would benefit from? Please get in touch if you wish to discuss this idea.
The next Area Local Organising Group is meeting on Monday 29th July.
Members of the Stratford upon Avon Table Tennis Club played night and day in early July to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease. The 24-hour marathon was organised by Ian Nash whose partner Caroline Fraser has the degenerative disease. I understand they now have raised over £3000 and growing. Well done to the club for this amazing effort.
