The Olympic Fanzone at Cabot Circus in Bristol has a relaxed vibe set in the beautiful Quakers Friar which has shaded seating, a water feature and places to pick up yummy refreshments. The Fanzone includes a large screen as well as table tennis tables. It will be in place throughout the summer to the Para Olympic closing ceremony. It was launched on Friday 26th July with the help of Louis Price a local player who is based currently in Germany.

Special thanks to Louis who demonstrated his talents, ran a beat the pro challenge and gave top tips to members of the public as well as local players. It was such good fun Louis popped back on Monday.

Thanks you to Chris Price for representing Table Tennis England at the event.

Coffee, cake, watching the Olympics and a game or two of Table Tennis what could be better? The Fanzone is creating a real buzz. It is already being enjoyed by new and established players which is fantastic to see.
