Table Tennis England is delighted to appoint Michael Loveder as our Official Photographer for the 2024/25 season.

Michael will exclusively provide sport photography at our headline events, including all competitions under the banner of the Mark Bates Ltd National Championships, the new National Series, revamped British Clubs Leagues and other selected competitions.

His appointment follows a competitive tender process under which sports photographers both inside and outside the sport were invited to bid.

It will enable us to move forward with our Table Tennis United pledge to extend the reach and visibility of the sport and create more commercial opportunities.

Michael has worked with us for a number of years, and our members will know and respect his style in capturing the exciting action of our sport.

Commenting on his appointment, Michael said: “I have to admit I am feeling rather chuffed at being selected for the prestigious role with Table Tennis England.  

“I’m under no illusion it will be challenging at times and I look forward to rising to the occasion as and when required. Having provided Table Tennis England with photographs for over 10 years I hope this will prove to be the icing on the cake.  

“I’m looking forward to producing photographic work on a more regular basis – with a hope that it will lead to many smiling faces and improved sponsorship opportunities.”

Table Tennis England Head of Engagement, Keely Armitt, said: “Table Tennis United is helping to professionalise the way in which we work with partners and contractors who support our ambitions, and is focussing our attention towards how we can capitalise on our assets to become less reliant on public funding and grow an engaged audience.

“Our national competition and events programme creates exclusive rights as well as providing the opportunity to make our sport more visible to players, participants, fans and commercial partners in England and globally.

“This coming season, we will further increase our live streamed coverage on TTE.TV and provide even more content across our other operated channels and this will be supported by top-quality photos from Michael, exclusive to our channels and available for public and commercial download.”
