It’s time to put our sport’s amazing volunteers in the limelight as we open nominations for the Pride of Table Tennis Awards 2024/25!

With no fewer than 12 categories, this is the table tennis community’s chance to nominate those individuals and organisations who have made outstanding contributions across the sport.

From the unsung heroes helping people to enjoy and achieve in table tennis to the star clubs and leagues providing participation and competitive opportunities, the Pride of Table Tennis Awards enable us to thank and honour the volunteers who are the lifeblood of the sport.

The 12 categories are:

  • Inspirational Story of the Year
  • Coach of the Year
  • Technical Official of the year
  • Club of the Year
  • League of the Year
  • Partner of the Year
  • School of the Year
  • Level The Table Award
  • Contribution to Table Tennis
  • Lifetime Achievement Award
  • Young Volunteer of the Year
  • Volunteer of the Year

Four of the categories – Coach of the Year, Club of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and Young Volunteer of the Year will have regional, as well as national, winners.

Table Tennis England Area Manager (South East) Alan Lane, who leads on the Pride of Table Tennis Awards, said: “I am honoured to champion the Pride of Table Tennis Awards, celebrating the incredible individuals who are the heart and soul of our sport.

“This is more than an awards ceremony – it’s a chance to recognise the passion, commitment and selfless dedication of the volunteers, coaches, officials, and personalities who make table tennis flourish.

“Together, let’s honour their remarkable contributions and shine a spotlight on the heroes who inspire and sustain our vibrant table tennis community.”

Nomination is via an online form, however, if you would like to make a nomination by video, phone or post, please initially email [email protected]

Nominations will close at 5pm on Friday 3 January and the regional winners will be announced in the week beginning Monday 6 January.

Shortlists will then be drawn up for each national category and all those shortlisted will be invited to the Pride Awards dinner on Saturday 22 March during the Mark Bates Ltd Senior National Championship in Nottingham, where the winners will be announced.
