TT Kidz was showcased to children in the Birmingham area as the excitement of the Commonwealth Games draws ever closer.

More than 600 children from 40 schools in the attended the Bring the Power Celebration Day, where Table Tennis England’s TT Kidz team delivered table tennis sessions.

With other sports including athletics, cricket and volleyball also on the agenda, table tennis was a popular activity with children experiencing bat and ball skills as well as rallying with coaches and taking part in target games. Even Perry, the Birmingham 2022 mascot, got involved!

Participating schools provided their contact details and will be followed up to show how they can deliver TT Kidz in their schools.

The event took place at King Edward VI High School for Girls in Birmingham.
