The exceptional volunteers within our sport were recognised at the Cloudathlete Pride of Table Tennis Awards ceremony during the Mark Bates Ltd National Championships.

Winners were announced in 12 categories during the awards dinner on Saturday evening, attended by finalists across all the categories.

The awards presented included the blue riband Cloudathlete Volunteer of the Year, Young Volunteer of the Year, Contribution to Table Tennis and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Those who have made outstanding contributions in the areas of officiating, coaching and inclusivity were put in the spotlight, alongside those clubs, leagues, schools and partner organisations who have achieved success and inspired others in the past 12 months.

The ceremony was part of a weekend invitation to the finalists to watch the Mark Bates Ltd Senior Nationals and receive recognition from the table tennis community on the court on Finals Day court.

The awards were supported by our Headline Partner, Cloudathlete. The sports management platform, powered by Rocca Creative, also put its name to the flagship Cloudathlete Volunteer of the Year category.

Thanks also go to our Award Partners, Bounce and Tees Sport; and Award Sponsors Great Northern Warehouse and Cornilleau.

The finalists were chosen from almost 140 nominations and the winners were chosen by the national judging panel.

Four of the 12 categories in this year’s awards have Area winners – Tees Sport Coach of the Year, Bounce Club of the Year, Cloudathlete Volunteer of the Year and Young Volunteer of the Year. The winners of the Area stage were announced in February.

Alan Lane, who leads of Pride of Table Tennis for Table Tennis England, said: “The Pride of Table Tennis Awards are a true celebration of the remarkable people who pour their hearts into our sport.

“Each nominee and winner embodies passion, dedication, and the power to inspire – their impact reaches far beyond the table, shaping communities and changing lives. It has been an honour and privilege to be involved.”
