Talented table tennis players aged 16 to 18 can now apply for the Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) programme.
The government-funded scheme combines performance training opportunities with education. Players who successfully complete the two-year programme will receive 64 UCAS points that they use towards entry into university.
Applications to join the 23-24 cohort are now open. The deadline to apply is 9am on Wednesday August 2.
Emma Vickers, Head of Pathway Development, said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming a new DiSE cohort for the coming year.
“DiSE is an excellent opportunity for young players to join our pathway and combine high-quality table tennis training with a unique qualification that allows them to not only develop their skills and knowledge within high-performance sport, but also provide avenues into future careers in the sports industry.”
