All Licensed Coaches will have free access to TTFit Pro through the app and can tap into a huge range of benefits.

TTFit Pro includes training plans, table tennis-specific exercises, including a section designed for children and a ‘Smart Coach’ feature which creates exercises to help individual players work on their weaknesses.

Coaches can create their own sessions and share them with individual players or squad members, and also have access to an array of table tennis knowledge through interviews with and articles about the world’s best players and coaches.

A key element for our coaches is the Coach-Player Portal, which gives the player and coach the ability to set important aspects of their game, including goal planning, tournament and weekly schedules, monitoring key opponents, setting trigger words and even setting up their own custom areas.

Accessed through the TT Learning Zone on our website, the TT Coach Support page is a hub of learning, with Table Tennis England development resources and best practice guidance available online to help keep coaches engaged and in turn help develop the sport and our players.

Table Tennis England has teamed up with UK Coaching to give Licensed Coaches discounted access to the UKCoaching.org subscription service.

Licensed Coaches will be sent a discount code allowing them 12 months’ access for £20, a discount of £4 on the standard price of £24.

All Licensed Coaches can access a table tennis-specific Fundamental Movement award at discounted rates through SAQ.

Suitable for Key Stage 2, TT Kidz for schools programme is a great programme for coaches to deliver in schools, providing children with a fun and engaging sessions. The TT Kidz programme has resources and branded kit to allow them to inspire the next generation of young players.

Coaches are only able redeem this offer once a year. Offer cannot be used with another discount code and the kit is for their sole use. We expect all coaches to complete the TT Kidz online workshop before delivering the programme in schools.

Process of applying for a DBS

DBS Guidelines

First aid qualifications are advisory for all coaches but not a requirement for your coach licence to be active.

There should always be a qualified first aider at every coaching session conducted (this could be a volunteer, coach or provided by the facility you are based at). Coaches working on their own must hold a First Aid certificate that has been updated every 3 years for their licence/insurance to be active.

If you have complete first aid training from another provider this must be a minimum Level 3 qualification and OfQual Regulated. To verify the status of the qualification please contact us.
