Over the past few weeks, it has been great to get out and about across the area to see and hear about some of the fantastic things that are happening in the East.

In early May, it was fantastic to be invited along by Girton Parish Council (just outside Cambridge) to open 2 new outdoor tables that we purchased by the parish council late in 2023. For those of you that haven’t seen the article that appeared on our website, please feel free to read more about in the link below:

It was also a privilege to be invited by Harvey Stevens and Jason Ramage up to Nottingham Table Tennis Centre on Saturday 15th June to both visit and present trophies to both primary and secondary school participants at the Nottingham Junior Table Tennis League. To see this fantastic initiative first hand was a great experience and a big thank you to Jason and Harvey for the invite.

In terms of projects and work areas for the East in general, there are lot’s of positive opportunities happening across the area. In particular, there a couple of great projects happening in Essex that have moved forward significantly in the past couple of weeks – details of which will hopefully feature in future blogs.

As the sun finally looks like it’s beginning to make an appearance, I hope everyone enjoys the early summer warmth and please feel free to get in touch if I can be of assistance.

Yours in Table Tennis

Chris
