On Monday 4^th November, I had the great pleasure of being invited across to Kempston Academy by Be Active (the Active Partnership for Bedfordshire) to help support and deliver a Junior Umpires course to a select group of students at the school.

The students who attended the school were provided with the opportunity to gain their Junior Umpiring Award to help officiate at the Schools Games, held between Wednesday 13^th and Friday 15^th November. In total, 9 students who attended the course passed the qualification and as such, put it to good use.

I would like to extend my full thanks and gratitude to Be Active, Bedford Community Table Tennis Club and Kempston Academy to help create this opportunity to develop a student workforce for the school games.
