Local Organising Group (LOG)

I’m delighted to announce Peter Leahy from Natland & Oxenholme TTC has agreed to become the Chair of the North West Local Organising Group (LOG)

The LOG very much about having a team of enthusiastic members, who have, or who are actively involved with TT development activity in their area or county and are willing to share their experiences with the wider TT community. This two way process also allows us to tap into people’s experiences & expertise, as well as sharing ideas with the members of LOG and their contacts.

The role includes:

  • Sharing the experiences and lessons learnt of key projects they have been involved with e.g. TT Kidz, 2-a-side leagues, applying for funding, running tournaments, junior coaching etc.
  • Being a point of contact for guidance and advice
  • Helping to shape and evolve the local delivery plan (LDP)
  • Help sharing best practice via articles, case studies etc. with local clubs, leagues and community users.

The aim is to have key people in each county; Cumbria, Lancashire & Cheshire who can play a part in the LOG. A list of those already signed up can be seen here. If you would like to get involved see the link above for how to apply.
