As we kick off the new table tennis season, there’s plenty to look forward to with a variety of courses and competitions planned across the North West in the coming months
Level 1 Umpires Course
A level 1 umpires course is being held at Blackpool Sports Centre on Sunday 12th October, places can be booked online.
It is the first part of a journey which could lead you to officiate at major national and international events, such as the National Championships and World TT Competitions!
The practical session will take place on Sunday 12th October 2025 – Blackpool Sports Centre, West Park Drive FY3 9HQ (CD 26/09/25)
Level 1 Coaching Course
A TT England Level 1 Session Coach course is taking place at Blackpool Sports Centre on Sun 16th Nov 2025 & Sun 18th Jan 2026, delivered by UCLan Performance Coach and former Welsh No.1 Dan O’Connell.
Cadet & Junior BCL
The closing date for clubs to enter teams into the Cadet BCL and Junior BCL taking place at Halton Table Tennis Club is fast approaching 15 September (Junior BCL) and 29 October (Cadet BCL). See our NW Events Calendar for dates of all courses and events.
ParkySMASH! Competition
Do you know someone with Parkinson’s who plays table tennis? Now is chance to enter a free competition taking place at the Great Northern Ping Hub, Deansgate, Manchester on 7th Sept 2025.
Upcoming TO2 Course
If you’ve ever wanted to run top-quality competitions with confidence, this one’s for you! The Tournament Organiser Level 2 (TO2) Course will give you the skills and knowledge to plan, promote, and deliver successful events at local and regional level.
