During last month’s blog, I highlighted a couple of fantastic opportunities that were taking place in the East area and this month I wish to promote another opportunity aimed at growing the grassroots game within the east amongst young people and young players.

Over the past couple of months, Table Tennis England have worked alongside Luton Table Tennis Club to develop an Under 11 Development competition, taking place on Sunday 1st December between 12.30pm and 4pm.

The ethos of the competition will focus on fun and enjoyment, with many young players taking part in a competitive environment for the first time.

At the current time of writing this blog, the competition has been well received within the table tennis community, with a total of 17 spaces being booked/reserved since the opportunity was released into the public domain from Monday 9th September. It is hoped that the remaining 8 spaces will be filled within the next few weeks.
