Its competition time!
Two good news stories this month from me.
- Working with partnership with Martin Clayton the Birmingham and Solihull League Chairman and the highly experience John Blackband from Walsall I am really pleased to say the National Junior League or British Junior Clubs League as its now called, is going to start soon at Fortis Academy in Birmingham. Eight teams have now entered and will play over four days across the season. Each player in the League is promised nine games per day so lots of games for all and we hope to expand this further in a years’ time with more clubs involved.
- Chris Perrin a High School Teacher from St George’s High School in Birmingham has got the new Birmingham Schools League up and running. The league involved 37 High School Team playing Home and Away fixtures in two age groups across the city. If you wish to copy this locally, please get in touch and I can share the fixtures and format with you. We are in the process of some filming of this league to share more widely soon. Great Job Mr Perrin!
Three other competitions are happening in the West over the next few weeks that you could have a day out watching. They start at 10:30am on Saturday and run until around 6pm and 9:30am Sunday until around 3pm.
