It was great to attend the Bromsgrove and Redditch TT League
Annual Award evening two weeks ago in the beautiful Bentley Village Hall. The
league held a really special evening with over a hundred players, friends and family
in attendance set in a backdrop of the Malvern Hills. Well done to Bernie Leech
and Don Evans for putting on a great evening.The Birmingham and Solihull TT League have just agreed to
host the National Junior League competition at Fortis Academy in Birmingham
next seasonApplications are open for this which replaces thecompetition being held at Birmingham Academy a year or so ago.
Last weekend saw a Level 1 umpires training session being
held in Birmingham. 17 candidates are now on their way to being qualified as
umpires. Candidates on this course came mainly from Birmingham and the West
Midlands but two travelled up from Hereford for the day.
January 18th is the next date for a Level 1 umpires
training course which is being held in Wolverhampton alongside the Women’s
