Medals for Karabardak and Heaps
Welshman Paul Karabardak showed great resilience and determination to come through a tough five set match and take gold in the men’s class 6 singles at the Para Copa Tango in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Self-funded athlete Simon Heaps also put up a great performance to take silver in the men’s class 5 singles.

Cornish table tennis player Joe Crouse marked his international debut by taking silver in the men’s class 9 singles at the European Para Youth Games in Pajulahti in Finland today and Scotland’s Ryan Henry took bronze in the men’s class 8 singles.

After day one of the table tennis events at the European Para Youth Games in Pajulahti in Finland Theo Bishop (men’s class 7), Joe Crouse (men’s class 9) and Ryan Henry (men’s class 8) are all through to the knockout stages of their respective singles events tomorrow.

Five selected for European Para Youth Games
British Para Table Tennis Confirmation athlete Grace Williams and Pathway athletes Theo Bishop, Joseph Crouse, Ryan Henry and Shae Thakker will be competing in the sixth European Para Youth Games which are taking place in Pajulahti in Finland from June 30 to July 3.
Para GB aces add three more golds to haul
On the final day of the Czech Para Open in Ostrava the British Para Table Tennis team finished a successful tournament by taking three gold medals in the doubles events.
