China has been crowned both the Women’s and Men’s Team champions of the world 2024 – and both for the 23rd time in the event’s history! The women claimed their record-extending title with an extraordinary 3-2 win over Japan on Saturday night, whilst the men took an imperious 3-0 win over France in Sunday’s Team final.
The event marked Korea Republic’s first-ever hosting of the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals, a long-awaited milestone that provided a unique experience for fans and a chance to celebrate Korea Republic’s place in table tennis history.
