Table Tennis England is looking for a new Chair of the British League Committee for the 2022/23 season, from among its members.
The Chair will lead the Committee and support the operational delivery, in furtherance of the general objectives. It is a voluntary role, with out-of-pocket expenses.
The Committee normally meets three to four times per season, either physically or virtually. Day-to-day Committee business is ongoing through the year and will be carried out via email, and represents a significant commitment. Weekend work will also be required.
The vacancy comes as Head of Competitions and Events, Neil Rogers, steps back to focus on other projects – he will step down after the new chair is successfully appointed on onboarded.
The new Chair will take on the role at an exciting time, with some significant improvements in the British League landscape in recent years including a dedicated staff resource – BL Executive Officer Henry Arthur – and the full roll-out of British League on the TT Leagues platform.
