A full complement of 32 teams will compete for national supremacy at the Centenary English Leagues Cup Competitions finals, sponsored by Rocca Creative.
Eight teams have qualified for each of the four competitions under the ELCC umbrella – the Wilmott Cup for senior men, JM Rose Bowl for senior women, Carter Cup for junior boys and Bromfield Trophy for junior girls.
The winners emerged from a total of 107 entries, with zonal rounds played at Hull, Halton, Norwich, Tamworth, Newbury, Luton, Isle of Wight, Leicester, Plymouth, Birmingham, Draycott, Liverpool and Pinner earlier this month.
The finalists come from 18 leagues and nine regions, with Norwich and Plymouth both having qualified in all four competitions. Wembley & Harrow also have four finalists, albeit two in the Carter Cup, while Guildford have two in the Wilmott Cup.
The finals are at Draycott & Long Eaton TTC on the weekend of July 9 and 10 – the two senior competitions on the Saturday and the juniors on the Sunday.
ELCC Committee Chairman Mike Smith said: “Many thanks to all those who hosted and organised at a zonal level – we now have a full complement of finalists, including for the first time in several years in the Bromfield Trophy. It promises to be a fantastic weekend as they play for these historic titles.”
