The WTT Feeder Westchester event in New York, USA began yesterday with qualifying matches in the doubles and singles events.

Tom Jarvis and David McBeath were knocked out convincingly in the opening round by Indian opponents Omkar Vaman Torgalkar and Kiranjoy Pushilal 0-3 (9-11, 9-11, 0-11).

Both Jarvis and McBeath join Paul Drinkhall in the main draw of the men’s singles to see if they can string together a series of good performances ahead of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games in the summer.
