An eight-strong team has been selected to represent England at the ISF World Schools Gymnasiade in Rio in August.

Selectors met after the recent Butterfly Schools Championships finals weekend and chose four boys and four girls to travel to Brazil.

The squad is – Girls: Naomi Coker, Sienna Jetha (pictured above), Ella Pashley, Jonabel Taguibao; Boys: Isaac Kingham, Ralph Pattison, Kacper Piwowar, Max Radiven.

The Non-Playing Captains are Kate Hughes and Chris Parker, with Ollie Ingram as umpire and Gail Johns as Head of Delegation.

They will be competing in both team and individual events against very strong opposition including teams from China and Chinese Taipei.
