A total of 14 English athletes have been confirmed in the field for the WTT Feeder Manchester, while German legend Timo Boll has been granted a wildcard into the main draw.
Liam Pitchford will be top seed in the Men’s Singles at the event, from February 1-4. He will be joined in the main draw by Paul Drinkhall, who has a place based on world rankings, while Tom Jarvis, David McBeath and Shayan Siraj have wildcards into the main draw. Sam Walker is not available to compete at the event.
Connor Green and Ben Piggott start in the qualifying draw, as does Wales’ Harri Docherty.
In the Women’s Singles, Tin-Tin Ho leads five English players who have wildcard into the main draw. She is joined by Sophie Earley, Emily Bolton, Mari Baldwin and Mollie Patterson, while Wales’ Anna Hursey is also in the main draw. Tianer Yu is in the qualifying draw.
There are four all-English pairs in the Men’s Doubles. Pitchford & Drinkhall will be second seeds behind Adam Szudi & Nandor Ecseki of Hungary. Also in the draw are Jarvis & McBeath, Piggott & Green and Siraj & Louis Price.
The Women’s Doubles sees Ho & Hursey as the highest-ranked pair from the Home Nations, while all-England pairs Bolton & Patterson and Earley & Yu also compete in the main draw, as does Baldwin, alongside Elvira Rad of Spain.
Pitchford & Hursey continue their blossoming Mixed Doubles partnership, with Green & Earley, McBeath & Bolton and Price & Baldwin in the main draw – the latter two pairs have wildcards.
In the qualifying draw for the Mixed are Jarvis & Ho, Siraj & Yu and Piggott & Patterson.
