Entries are now open for the popular two-day Jersey Grand Prix held over the Easter weekend. The Banded events take place on Saturday 19 April, with the Open Singles, Under-21, Restricted and Veterans’ Singles on Easter Sunday, 20 April.

We have had great support for this event over the last 17 years with lots of players attending from the Channel Islands, England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, France, Germany and other European Countries.

Eleni Middleton, President of the JTTA said: “We are very grateful to PwC as our sponsor and really pleased with the support from the business community for supporting our 17th PwC Grand Prix. The sponsorship will ensure that we can attract the best players from the UK and Europe to our newly revamped competition over the Easter Weekend.

Paul Silcock, Director at PwC added, “We really pleased to support the 17th PwC Grand Prix. The JTTA have continued to have the top players attend the UK. In the past we have had winners such as Ryan Jenkins, Matt Ware and six-times winner Chris Doran. In the ladies we have had local representation with Guernsey’s Alice Edwards (Loverage) and Hannah Silcock.

“Hopefully the sponsorship will ensure the event is a success in attracting the top player to Jersey while helping the JTTA to increase player participation in this ever-growing sport.”

The last event was held in 2023 where the event was won by Chris Doran (men’s) and Hannah Silcock (women’s).
