Coaches have the chance to take part in a CPD workshop, as well as watch some top-class table tennis, during WTT Feeder Manchester.
The Coach CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Theory Workshop is ideal for grassroots coaches, club volunteers and coaching staff, and anyone looking to enhance their coaching knowledge and skills.
It offers a fantastic opportunity to expand coaching knowledge, gain practical skills, and enhance your impact within your club.
A range of expert speakers will be delivering these sessions, ensuring you gain valuable insights from experienced professionals.
The workshop is on Saturday 26 April from 10am to 3pm at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester.
The cost is £20 per person, which includes a Standard Seating Ticket to Session 1 of the WTT Feeder Manchester 2025.

You’ll have the chance to attend three of six tailored workshops, covering key areas such as:
Neurodiversity in Grassroots Table Tennis – Learn how to create an inclusive environment for neurodivergent players, led by Access Sport, a national charity dedicated to making sport accessible for all.
Player Analysis – Gain insights into match analysis, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and building training sessions based on performance data.
Mental Health & Building Resilience – Understand the importance of mental well-being in sport, with practical tips on supporting players and fostering resilience in grassroots table tennis.
Building a Player Pathway – Learn how to structure a development pathway from beginner to elite levels and establish partnerships with schools and local organisations.
An introduction to sport psychology; preparing for competition – A brief introduction to Sport Psychology – what is it and who works with a sport psychologist. How coaches can support athletes when things don’t go exactly to plan.
Developing Young Players & Creating a Positive Learning Environment – Explore age-appropriate coaching strategies, fun and engaging sessions, and how to nurture young talent effectively.
