Andrew Baggaley went out in the first round of the Men’s Singles at the WTT Feeder Olomouc at the hands of the world No 205 from China.

Xu Yingbin did not give the Englishman a look-in at all in the first game, taking it 11-0. It was closer after that, but Baggaley went out in three straight (0, 8, 7).

He and Polish partner Magdalena Sikorska did manage a victory in the qualifying round of the Mixed Doubles, getting past Stepan Brhel & Hanka Kodetova of Czechia in five. They were defeated in three by German pair Tom Schweiger & Franziska Schreiner in the last 16.
