Richard Crowther and Brenda Hudson delivered York’s first ever 2* competition on Saturday 11^th November. The event was also supported by Tim Smith, Dianne Crowther, Martin, and Ann Hood.

A total of 66 players registered to enter the competition, making up a total of nine groups, and although it was a senior competition, a number of juniors and under 11s entered. For one particular player, Harry Hodgson, he used the day to celebrate his 11^th Birthday.

The winners on the day were local players; Rhys Davis – who finished inbeaten in his band, Filip Wojtkowiak, Adam Fox, Jacob McCarthy and Chris Carcamo.

The competition was beautifully run, starting at 9:30am and promptly finishing at 4:30pm. Players had a fantastic time which created a fun and friendly environment. If you would like to enter a future event, please keep checking here
