A new project, funded by our Level the Table Grant Scheme, AccessibleTT, is a new session in Worthing for Disabled people.
The programme starts from the 19th March at Worthing Table Tennis Club, where the club will be offering a 12-week period of free sessions for Disabled people to take on the sport!
The Level the Table Grant Scheme was launched as a result of our new 5-year Diversity and Inclusion strategy, which will help us achieve our overarching ambition of being a world leading National Governing Body, delivering a diverse and dynamic sport that transforms lives, connects communities and achieves excellence.
In addition, Worthing TTC have been shortlisted to receive a small grant from the Asda Green Token scheme. The organisation with the most votes on the 31st May will receive £500.
The funds will be used to support the recruitment of more women and girls to the sport by offering taster girls-only sessions to the Worthing community, as well as raising the profile by entering a Worthing TTC team at the next Women British League with local players.
To vote, please go to the following website: https://www.asda.com/green-tokens select FERRING and vote! Each device corresponds to one vote. You can keep voting after 7 days. Your support will be greatly appreciated by everyone at Worthing TTC.
