There is all to play for in the Premier Division of the Women’s British League as a chasing pack aim to reel in leaders Fusion this weekend.
The London club hold a two-point lead at the top, with Drumchapel Glasgow in second. However, Joola Plymouth and Colebridge are only a point further back – and it would not be inconceivable to see Ormesby, in fifth on 4pts – mount a challenge too.
With the teams all capable of taking points off each other, the leaders won’t be taking anything for granted but will feel confident having won four out of five last time, losing only to Drumchapel.
Defending champions Plymouth will also not be giving up their crown lightly – and they did come from behind Fusion on weekend two last year to take the title.
Fusion also hold the lead in the race for the Division One title and are two points clear at the top. Two Halton teams and Dun Laoire make up the rest of the top four.
