A great time was had by all at the second Graham Spicers Veterans 1* tournament. Players came from Warwickshire, Berkshire, Dorset, Essex, Middlesex, Kent and Surrey.

Band 1

Top seed Percy Collino lost to John Robinson 3-2 and to Sabin Silviu Garduli 3-1 in the round-robin event. Sabin won the Band 1 event winning six matches and only losing to John Robinson.

Daniel Heo came second on countback and Percy was third also on countback. Kinga Oryl won two matches and lost two matches in the fifth set.

Band 2

Tomas Jacko, the second seed in Band 2, won the event, winning five matches and losing one to Chris Krishnan. Daniel Buckle was the runner-up on countback and Choong Young Lee was third, also on countback.

Band 3

Manoj Shah won all six of his matches to win the event. Top seed Antioco Collu was runner-up and Atanasios Mitropoulos came third on countback.

Band 4

Shiromi Aponso beat all in Band 4 as she won the event. Haidar Al Shamary was runner-up and top seed Omar Sahib came third.

The Tournament was run by Jin Su Choi and Chris Andrews with help from Patrick Caunt, and Pawel Meryn took the photos.
