November 7th, 2021 is the special day when the ETTA/Table Tennis England turns 100!
This unique occasion will be commemorated by a season-long celebration which will not only celebrate our sport’s journey and achievements up to this point but also focus on the future.
As Table Tennis England prepares its centenary programme, we are now calling on our members to get involved.
Building on the recent survey with county associations and leagues, we are now asking clubs and individual members to share their ideas in an online conversation.
Using a new conversation tool, this short survey provides everyone with an opportunity to share their thoughts on what the Centenary means to them and how they would like to see us celebrate our Centenary.
The survey is also looking to gather information on the players, coaches, officials and administrators who people feel have left an indelible mark on game over the last 100 years, as well as the events and moments in the sport which hold the most significant value to them.

Additionally, we are asking whether any members or stakeholders have any historic photos, documents or memorabilia they would like to share with us or donate to us. Please contact us via [email protected] if you have any such material.
We are already shaping our own centenary plans, led by our Centenary Project Manager, Steve Joel. A gala dinner, commemorative book and participation campaign are among the ideas we are working on.
We very much hope the whole table tennis community will join us in celebrating this milestone in the sport’s history and we look forward to sharing more of our plans with you all in the near future.
