Tin-Tin Ho had little joy at the WTT Feeder Fort Lauderdale in the USA, going out in the first round of the singles to the seventh seed.
Ho took the first game against Amy Wang of the host nation in the last-32 match, but saw her opponent hit back to take the next four.
In the doubles, Ho and partner Sofia-Xuan Zhang of Spain started in the quarter-finals against second seeds Lily Zhang (USA) & Barbora Balazova (SVK). The match was well poised at 1-1, but their opponents edged a pivotal third 14-12 and went on to take the fourth.
There was a victory for Ho in the mixed doubles, alongside Ng Pak Nam of Hong Kong, overcoming a US pair in the last 16, but pulling out before the quarter-finals against the second seeds.
