When you become a member of Table Tennis England – or renew your existing membership – you have the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to directly fund areas of the sport of your choosing.

Since April 1, 2022, more than 650 members made an additional voluntary contribution on top of their membership fee.

Their pledges amounted to more than £5,100, taking the total contributions since the scheme was launched in the 2020/21 season past £9,500, with almost 1,300 individual donations.

It amounts to an average of around £7.50 per donation, showing how quickly donations can mount up and make a positive contribution to our sport.

Members can choose to earmark their donations for a variety of projects, including club development, youth development and talent & performance.

Table Tennis England Chair Sandra Deaton said: “We’re very grateful to those who choose to add a donation to their membership – your support on top of your membership fees will help grow table tennis and make a positive impact on people who play the sport.”
