To encourage youngsters to join table tennis and to develop their game, the Isle of Wight Association awards a sponsored table tennis shirt (with Island logo) to all juniors, once they start to play in the local league.

The Island’s latest recipient is 12-year-old Joseph Renouf. Pictured above with his grandparents, he is presented with his shirt by coach, Elaine Mills, who is delighted with Joseph’s attitude and progress.

Joseph is just one of an increasing number of youngsters, who is learning and developing his game, under the guidance of the Island’s excellent coaches and he is looking forward to developing his game in the Island’s Winter League, which starts this week.
