Lead Junior Coach Marcus Gustafson is to leave Table Tennis England after seven years.
Gustafson, who led the England women’s team to a bronze medal at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, will move on later this month.
Among his other highlights was leading the women’s team at a home Team World Cup at the Copper Box, also in 2018 (pictured above with Maria Tsaptsinos and Kelly Sibley). More recently, he headed up the England Junior Squad coaching programme.
Gavin Evans, Head of Performance Development, said: “I’d like to thank Marcus for his contribution to Table Tennis England over the last seven years. We value his contribution very much and wish him every success in his future endeavours.
“The performance team is in negotiations with two new pathway coaches and hope to be able to issue an update in the next couple of weeks.”
Gustafson said: “I’d like to thank Table Tennis England for the opportunity of working together these past seven years and wish the association, players and coaches all the best for the future.”
