Table Tennis England Schools Officer Keegan Barstow conquered a hilly half-marathon and raised hundreds of pounds for charity in the process.

Keegan pounded the pavements for the Leeds Festival of Running Half-Marathon, with sponsorship proceeds going to the Children with Cancer UK charity.

He finished in 2hr 15min and said: “If I’m honest, I’m a little disappointed with that but I underestimated the hills of Leeds! I’d like to thank everyone for their kind words and support.”

Keegan has so far raised more than £500, with more donations to come in, and anticipates the final total being almost £800.
