Table tennis clubs are the backbone of our sport, providing a place for players of all ages and abilities to train, compete, and enjoy the game. But how can your club take its success to the next level? By becoming a Table Tennis England Premier Club, you can unlock new opportunities, attract more members, and secure valuable support to help your club thrive.
As your North West Area Manager, I’m here to help guide your club through the process, ensuring you maximise the benefits available. Let’s explore how your club can grow by achieving Premier Club status and how working with me can make this journey even smoother.
What is a Table Tennis England Premier Club?
A Premier Club is part of the Table Tennis England Club Support Programme, designed to help clubs enhance their facilities, coaching, governance, and overall sustainability. It recognises clubs that are proactive, well-structured, and committed to providing an outstanding experience for players at all levels.
PremierClubs are given an enhanced level of support and encouraged to work with Table Tennis England to develop and grow in a way that is best suited to that club and its members.

The Benefits of Becoming a Premier Club
1. Increased Visibility and Credibility
Achieving Premier Club status signals to players, parents, and potential partners that your club meets the highest standards in table tennis. It provides recognition that can help attract new members and strengthen your club’s reputation in the local community. It also gives you access to TT Clubs the club management platform to help you manage your club; memberships, sessions and events.
2. Access to Funding and Grants
Premier Clubs gain better access to funding opportunities from Table Tennis England and external organisations. This can help with:
- Equipment purchases
- Venue improvements
- Coaching development
- Community outreach projects
3. Support for Recruitment and Retention
Premier Club status makes your club more attractive to new members. With structured programmes and a welcoming environment, you’ll not only bring in new players but also retain them for longer.
4. Stronger Links with Schools and Local Organisations
Premier Clubs can form official partnerships with schools, universities, and community groups. This can help expand your club’s reach, bringing in young players and creating a pipeline of future talent.
