The annual Isle of Wight Over-70s Tournament was held on Friday, 14 February and saw a terrific contest with some excellent play from the Island’s senior players.

The semi-final line-up was (from left in the photo): Bernie Forward, Tim Giles, Elaine Mills and Peter Clarke. In the final Tim beat Elaine, with spectators watching some first-class table tennis.

It was a second tournament win this season for Tim, who two months ago won the Island’s Handicapped Doubles League with his wife, Bev.
