A total of 132 young athletes have been invited to compete at the inaugural National Series, which begins next month.

The new competition will provide a regular high-quality competitive opportunity for the top cohort in each youth age-group – Under-13, Cadet and Junior – in both genders.

The invitations are based on the July ranking list, with the addition of any home countries players (Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man), and has been age adjusted to capture players to be in the relevant categories for next season.

The lists of invited players can be seen at the foot of this page.

There are multiple divisions of six players in each age/gender category, played as a round-robin format, with promotion and relegation between divisions after each round.

Additional players can be called up in subsequent weekends to replace players who withdraw or those relegated from the bottom divisions.
