Last game for the England Team at the European Table Tennis Championships in Ostrava in the Czech Republic. 10am but still a good crowd to watch Hannah Hicks and Karina Le Fevre take on Czech favourites Iveta Vacenovska and Renata Strbokova.

All the England team and the band of supporters were outnumbered about 5 to one by the Czech Crowd. The English pair won the first point of the match but that was the only time in the match they were ahead. The Czech pair were just that bit better and were never in any trouble as they won the match in three straight sets.

On the next table the Spanish pair had scratched and some wag in the watching crowd who shall be nameless quipped what if Hannah and Karina had faced them in the last 16, a quarter final place after just one match!!!
