Following the Government announcement on the 14th June, there are consequently a number of important changes to national events scheduled before 19th July.

Firstly, the Gloucester Grand Prix on 26th and 27th June is regrettably cancelled as it is simply not possible to hold this event under extended restrictions. The possibility of a reschedule will now be explored, and we hope to have further news in the next few days. Either way, a full refund will be available to entrants.

Secondly, there will be no doubles events at either the U10-13s Mark Bates Ltd National Championships on 3rd and 4th July, or the Cadet & Junior Mark Bates Ltd National Championships on 10th and 11th July. We anticipate at this stage that Singles categories will go ahead as normal – however, information on revised scheduling, whether spectators are permitted, and limits on players’ accompanying others, will be shared in the next few days. Refunds for doubles entries to this event will be automatically processed.

We apologise for any inconvenience, which unfortunately is unavoidable due to the change in lockdown restrictions. We please ask for your patience and understanding whilst we work to establish the remaining information, which will be shared at the earliest opportunity.
